Wood from several massive cypress trees that had to be removed from the property was carefully harvested and crafted into custom furnishings. At the same time, extensive use of solid teak throughout the estate — including beams, ceilings, window frames, and doors — was painstakingly restored. The Mediterranean-style architecture, open spaces, and lush gardens were preserved and developed to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Each element contributed to a place that feels like a home rather than an institution — an environment where guests can settle in, step away from everyday distractions, and concentrate on their recovery.
